45 Lokalradios in NRW senden am Samstag, 11. September 2010 in der Reihe "Augenblick mal!" im Frühprogramm einen Beitrag über Franz Stock. "Augenblick mal!" wird von der Redaktion KiP-NRW (Katholische Kirche im Privatfunk Nordrhein-Westfalen) produziert und kann von den Lokalradios übernommen werden.

Am Freitag, 17. September 2010 präsentieren sich auf dem "Tag des Ehrenamtes" verschiedene ehrenamtlich arbeitende Vereine und Gruppierungen auf dem Neheimer Markt, 59755 Arnsberg. Auch das Komitee ist mit einem Informationsstand vertreten. Zwischen 14.00 - 19.00 Uhr stehen Vertreter des Komitees für Fragen und Anregungen zur Verfügung. Wir freuen uns auf Ihren besuch.

Am Samstag, 18. September 2010 gibt es mindestens drei gute Gründe (Jahreshauptversammlung - 2. Kolloquium - Konzert) Chartres zu besuchen:

1. 10.00 Uhr morgens

sind die Mitglieder der „Les Amis de Franz Stock“ in Frankreich zu ihrer Jahreshauptversammlung in die Europäische Begegnungsstätte Franz Stock Chartres (Stadplan) eingeladen. Hier können sich die Mitglieder auch ein konkretes Bild von dem aktuellen Fortschritt der Bauarbeiten machen.

Am 4. September wird zu einem bunten Jubiläumsfest "650 Jahre Fresekenhof" eingeladen. Im Fresekenhof befindet sich auch unsere "Dauerausstellung Franz Stock". Im Rahmen des Jubiläumsfestes ist die Ausstellung von 13.30 - 15.30 Uhr geöffnet. Wir laden herzlich zum Besuch des Festes und unserer Daueraustellung ein. Ansonsten ist die Ausstellung nach Terminabsprache zu besichtigen.

About the Author

Brooklyn-born Fr. Boniface Hanley, O.F.M., was ordained a Franciscan priest in 1950. During his sixty years as a priest he has served his Order as an administrator, high school and college professor, missionary on Bolivia's vast Alto Plano, where he founded for his Aymaran Indian flock-perhaps the world's highest parish-a school and clinic at 13,400 feet. Illness sent him back to the States where he discharged a variety of pastoral duties until his recent semi-retirement. Working with fellow friar Salvator Fink, for 17 years he researched and wrote the biographies of Saints and Holy People published in the quarterly Anthonian magazine. This is his seventh published book. For the present volume, Fr. Boniface did research both in Germany and France and visited with the Stock family. Amazon.com

Die Wanderausstellung "Franz Stock - Frieden als Auftrag" ist vom

in der Pfarrkirche St. Antonius Eins.

ausgestellt. Die Ausstellungseröffnung erfolgte im Rahmen eines Gottesdienstes anlässlich des Pastoralverbund-Festes Bigge-Lenne-Tal.
